Lindum Homes is one of Lincolnshire's leading house builders and part of the well-established Lindum Group Ltd. Lindum has been building homes in and around Lincolnshire for over 50 years and has earned a reputation for quality, individual style and the personal touch.

History

Our History

Being part of Lindum Group we are proud of our history and reputation. Lindum was founded by John F. Chambers, a Civil Engineer, in 1956 with a team consisting of a Secretary, Mrs Pauline Brown (who subsequently became Chairlady 32 years later), 3 tradesmen and a dog called Shep all working out of an office in Lincoln.

David Chambers, the founder's youngest son, has been Chairman since 1992. Lindum now directly employs over 600 people across 12 trading divisions - involved in construction, joint venture commercial property, house building, plant, joinery and maintenance from offices in Lincoln, Peterborough and York.

John Pearson 1995

John Pearson

John has been a Site Manager with Lindum Homes since 1995. During this time he has overseen the successful completion of many developments.

With his wealth of knowledge and experience John has provided valuable support to numerous colleagues in their quest to learn their chosen trade and further their career.

Over the years John has seen many changes in the house building industry and continues to embrace new techniques, technologies and construction practices.

He continues to be a valuable source of advice and expertise for the team as well as doing his main job to ensure the developments under his watch get completed to standard and on time.

Ashley Hornbuckle 2015

Ashley Hornbuckle

Ashley joined Lindum in 2015 as an apprentice bricklayer.

His hard work, eagerness to learn and dedication has meant he fits in well and is an asset to our team.

As part of his apprenticeship Ashley gained his National Diploma in Bricklaying Level 2 and continues to work towards becoming an advanced bricklayer.

In 2017 Ashley was named as the Apprentice of The Year in the Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards in recognition of his outstanding performance and positive attitude.

Becky Hurst Miller 2006

Rebecca Hurst-Miller

With a background in new homes sales Becci joined Lindum Homes in 2006 as Sales Manager and heads up the Sales, Marketing and Customer Care for all Lindum Homes developments.

Using her knowledge and experience Becci helps advise on the layout and design of each home and, taking advantage of her keen interest and expert eye for interior design, she is also personally responsible for the fit-out of each of the Showhomes.

Working in the Sales Centres, Becci and her small team of Sales Advisers remain committed to understanding customer requirements and providing excellent service for all visitors and potential purchasers.

Colin Reynolds 1999

Colin Reynolds

Colin has been a member of the Lindum team since 1999 and is responsible for carrying out work as part of our aftercare service.

A familiar face on site and in the office, Colin can be seen driving around in his Lindum Homes Customer Care van as he goes about his daily business.

As a multi-skilled member of the team, Colin’s work is varied as he often gets called upon to help both the build and sales teams with a wide variety of tasks.
